I wanted to share three pieces of art from three students in my class. They made the pictures on January 6, 2012. I thought they had great detail and talent.
The first one is his family outing. The second one is her home and family, and the last one is animals. I love the use of colors and the designs that the children used. Also the first two came from my story teller and he can tell some good stories.
I love seeing children drawings! I find that they use a variety of colors as well as showing their many talents in their drawings. I think that as adults we get to physically see how they see/picture different images.
With being a teacher for so many years, do you still find it breath taking when their little eyes light up when their "portraits" are completed? I know I do! =)
I love to hear the stories behind each picture. I have one child that plans his drawings and tells us what he is going to draw before he finishes his morning work.
I love the uses of many colors! What are the drawings of? And what do you enjoy the most about their artwork?

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! Do you ever use dictation when doing art work in your class?
ReplyDeleteIf the child is verbal, I usually always write what the child tells me. Sometimes it is on another paper or on the back.
